BioSense presents world’s first device for quick nitrogen measurement on farming land
This innovation could help global farming. On the one hand, it could help reduce the amount of fertilizer wasted, while on the other hand, it could ensure that each plant on the parcel gets the exact amount of the fertilizer it needs, thereby increasing the yields.
– We are developing a device that will be able to scan the land and show agriculturists what each section of their parcels is like – Professor Vesna Bengin of the BioSense Institute said.
Let us remind that, last month, the BioSense Institute won third prize at the prestigious Crop Challenge contest for the implementation of artificial intelligence in agriculture.
