Further purchase of shares in Mercator
The executive vice president for export market in Agrokor, Damir Kustrak, said that during the release of public tender for further share purchase in Mercator.
In his statement to Tanjug on the margins of the Summit 100, he said that as long as the process lasts, he cannot comment further plans apart from the factthat “it will be a good and extremely attractive business project”.
After it has recently paid the agreed amount to the owners of 53% shares in Mercator, Agrokor announced the intention to take over the remaining package of shares in the biggest Slovenian trade chain and the price it is planning to offer totals EUR 86 per share.
Agrokor is the owner of 2.000.278 shares or 53,12% of Mercator and the takeoveroffer refers to 1.765.083 shares or 46,88% shares which minority shareholders have.
