Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has expressed its interest in investing in livestock increase in Serbia, as well as in already existing domestic farms, according to the president of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Marko Cadez.

Cadez told TV Pink that the country's delegation has meetings with representatives of the SCC association, from the processing industry to agricultural production, IT, construction and infrastructure, and other sectors of the economy.

He pointed out that Saudi Arabia, as an important market of 33 million consumers, wants our products.

In the coming two weeks, he adds, SCC and the The Council of Saudi Chambers will form a joint Council consisting of both Saudi and Serbian businesspeople in order to connect and commence joint projects.

- The market of Saudi Arabia is extremely important for the Serbian economy because that country is one of the largest producers of phosphate, used in the production of mineral fertilizers - Cadez said.

The President of SCC indicated that cooperation with that country is also important for our IT sector, given that Saudi Arabia's strategic goal is to become one of the most digitized countries in the world by 2030, as well as for our agriculture, and that Serbian companies will be exhibiting at the Saudi Food fair in June.
