China Recommends Serbia to Its Citizens for Group Tourist Visits

China has recommended Serbia to its citizens as the third country in Europe for group tourist visits, said the minister of tourism and youth of Serbia, Husein Memic.

– Today, the Chinese authorities notified us that they had included Serbia, as the third country in Europe, on the list of 20 countries recommended for group tourist visits – Memic said for Beta.

He added that, a month before, when it had opened its borders following the pandemic, it had had a list with recommendations for 20 countries and that the Ministry of Tourism and Youth of Serbia had expressed regret that Serbia was not on that list during the Belgrade Tourism Fair, where China had been the partner-country.

Memic pointed out that the talks about the expansion of the list to include Serbia had been helped a lot by the ambassador of China to Serbia, Chen Bo.

He pointed out that it was perhaps the best news about the arrival of tourists to Serbia and that the Chinese had been number one when it came to the number of tourists in 2019.

– This recommendation will contribute to the Chinese coming to Serbia in greater numbers than in 2019 – Memic said.

He added that everybody in the world was trying to attract Chinese tourists and that Serbia now had a new line to Tianjin and that that would help surpass the record number of tourists from China from 2019.
