Serbia has over 37 tons of gold reserves and all the gold has been withdrawn to our country, the governor of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS), Jorgovanka Tabakovic, stated today.

– We have a vault full of gold and we intend to keep buying it – Tabakovic said for Pink.

She says that, several months ago, the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, asked, following a meeting with representatives of the IMF, whether Serbia’s gold reserves were “outside” and said that he believed that the gold should be in Serbia.

– I told him that it was abroad, in Bern, Switzerland, and that there was only one ton left in London, and he told me that he believed that it should be in Serbia, noting that world events were unpredictable – Tabakovic said.

She says that, within two months, she organized the transfer of all the gold reserves to Serbia.

– All the gold of the Republic of Serbia is in the NBS vaults, over 37 tons – she emphasized.
