Air Serbia to Increase Capacities Towards Montenegro – Up to 33 Flights a Week to Tivat During the Summer Season
Until the end of September, Air Serbia will operate more than 900 rotations between Serbia and Montenegro, offering around 70,000 seats on Podgorica and more than 110,000 seats on Tivat route. The majority of flights will be operated by a jet airliner with bigger capacity, instead of Air Serbia’s ATR aircraft.
– We remain committed to the Montenegrin market, which has traditionally been very important for our passengers. We are trying to secure a strong connection between our two countries, as well as great connectivity with other destinations in Air Serbia’s network. Among other things, we provide seamless air link between Montenegro and Russian Federation, via Belgrade – said Jiri Marek, General Manager, Commercial and Strategy, Air Serbia.
As early as next week, Serbia’s flag carrier will be operating 15 flights a week to Montenegro’s coast, and this number will increase to 33 flights a week during summer peak. Serbia’s national airline will operate up to five flights a day on its Belgrade-Tivat route during the peak season, every day except Mondays and Tuesdays when it will operate up to 4 daily rotations.
Air Serbia will also operate up to 21 weekly flights to Podgorica during summer peak. There are currently no travel restrictions between Serbia and Montenegro and passengers flying in either direction are not required to present a negative PCR test.
