The Serbian Chamber of Commerce, as a member of the Western Balkans Chamber Investment Forum, has invited companies to apply until September 15 for free participation at the Western Balkans Digital Summit, being held in Podgorica from October 11 to October 13, 2021 as part of a regional co-operation program.

With the support of the European Union, 30 selected startups, micro and small companies from the Western Balkans, five of which from Serbia, have the opportunity to participate in a specially created program during the fourth Western Balkans Digital Summit.

The deadline for submitting applications and supporting documents is September 15, and the list of selected companies will be available by September 20, 2021. The working language of the event is English. Registration is via the link.

Activities include hands-on training on important topics such as company organization, access to finance, how to promote a service or product, and other business-critical issues. Representatives of the companies will have the opportunity to attend panel discussions within the Digital Summit, and a joint workshop will be organized with the aim of helping startups, micro and small companies to overcome challenges and the most common beginner's mistakes.

As part of the preparations for participation in the summit, a joint presentation of all companies will be prepared to promote their IT solutions. Selected startups will be given the opportunity to present themselves at a virtual fair free of charge as part of the online summit platform. Virtual stands available to the general public will be a great opportunity for online presentations of companies, their products and services, and B2B meetings are planned via the same platform.

The conditions for free participation are that the company is based in one of the Western Balkan markets, that it is registered as a micro or small company, has an annual turnover of up to one million euros, operates for less than five years and has developed an IT solution.

Priority will be given to solutions that have direct application in the automotive, food, rubber and plastic industries, agriculture and the circular economy.

The Digital Summit in Podgorica will bring together representatives of governments, companies, regional organizations, civil society organizations, academia and young people with the aim of establishing a digital platform for the exchange of ideas and propositions.
