Four towers featuring 4 VIP elevators, 3 atriums 25 meters tall, 9 panoramic elevators, office space on six levels, 550 parking places in the garage, commercial space on two floors, as many as 5 cafeterias and 7 congress rooms... All this is part of the B23 Office Park complex.
Construction of this luxury business complex, situated right opposite to New Belgrade's Arena, is the Verano Group. People at this company say that about 90 percent of the facility has already been completed. The project author is the Projmetal company (part of the Verano Group), which is also the contractor.
Given that the construction commenced back in 2009, there are many people who doubt the future of this building.
Luka Zivanic, the person in charge of finance and new investments at the company, says to eKapija that as the work is nearing its end, the number of companies interested in buying the entire facility is growing.
- We have recently finished negotiations with a fund from Isreal. Their offer is rejected because of the price. However, new companies have now joined the race for this building - says Zivanic, the son of the Verano's owner.
As he says, they are currently negotiating the sale of the entire complex with American and Russian companies, which is the only form of deal they are interested in. He explains that some local companies expressed interest in buying certain floors, but that does not fit in their strategy.
According to our interlocutor, the complex in Block 23 will cover a total surface area of 52,000 square meters.
This building also features one novelty on its roof - the first private heliport in Belgrade.
