Unique place for shopping and entertainment in Vojvodina - Mosaic City Mall in Novi Sad from 2012

For those who find shopping a special experience and who, in addition to shopping, enjoy a pleasant atmosphere, modern design and entertainment contents, Mosaic City Mall will be opened in Novi Sad in 2012. The complex will be situated in the location of former industrial zone, about 1.5 km away from the city center. Total of 100m EUR will be invested in that unique trade center on the territory of Vojvodina, at the surface of about 90,000 square meters.

Mosaic City Mall will include 150 companies at about 39,000 square meters. The plan is that Novi Sad's shopping center comprises clothing, electronics and household appliances stores, hypermarket, playground for kids, bawling room, cinemas, restaurants of national and international cuisines, coffee shops and other fun contents.

Investors Ocean Atlantic International and Immoeast announced that the construction of that modern facility would start either at the end of this year or in early 2011.

- Mosaic City Mall is different from all other shopping centers in Serbia primarily because of its architecture. It is the center of the fourth generation, while only the shopping malls of the first or the second generation have, so far, been built on the territory of Serbia. The facility has plenty of open space, each section has natural light, while coffee shops and restaurants will be situated on the top floor with the view of the Danube – Aleksandar Zavišić, the CEO of Ocean Atlantic International, said in the interview for eKapija.

The project was elaborated by London-based company Avci Arhitects, while consulting company Curona Design from London was in charge of planning installations.

- We will introduce the cutting-edge technology for heating, cooling and ventilation in order to ensure as pleasant stay of visitors as possible, as well as to cut the expenses of the tenants – said Zavišić.

He pointed out that Mosaic City Mall would activate the economy of Novi Sad and that the opening of that shopping center would bring the companies that had never operated in that city before, as well as that about 1,500 people would be working in that facility.
