- Company "Delta Motors" sold 586 BMW and "mini" automobiles in Serbia last year and realized the largest growth of sales in the regions of central and east Europe, Africa and the Caribbean - this was stated yesterday (January 29, 2008) at the press conference.
General Manager of "Delta Motors", Thomas Smith announced opening of BMW showroom on Ada Ciganlija, in which 12m EUR will be invested. Prior to the end of year 2009, a showroom will also be built in Novi Sad and it will cost 3m EUR.
General Manager of BMW for Central and East Europe, Africa and the Caribbean, Rudolf Vališ, said that "BMW Group" delivered 1.5m vehicles in 2007 and that the growth of sale of BMW, "mini" and "Rolls Royce" automobiles amounted to 9.2%.
- Retail turnover was also bigger in the countries of the region, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia, and total of 2,230 BMW and 198 "mini" automobiles was delivered - said the manager for regional sales Konard Baumgartner.
President of "Delta Holding", Miroslav Mišković, has been awarded a certificate for exceptional results of "Delta Motors" in 2007.
