Newly-appointed acting General Manager of Nikola Tesla airport, Sasa Vlaisavljevic announced changes in company management and that cost reduction will start immediately as well as car fleet which now has more than 70 cars.

- I found more than 70 passenger cars available for employees and I do not think anybody will like the fact I go to work by my own car – Vlaisavljevic said for today’s Informer.

He said the investments will be redirected extremely to traffic and infrastructure because we are in the peak of the season and the airport has a record number of passengers.

According to him, waiting rooms will be expanded, special vehicles for runway in winter terms and low profiled cars will be supplied.

- Only a few days before I was appointed, tenders totaling some EUR 800.000 were released. I am planning to cancel all procurements which are not traffic-related. We will check every paper and every procurement. This week, I will form my team – Vlaisavljevic said, stating that significant human resources changes follow, first of all in the company management.

According to him, permanently employed HC number is disproportional. There are 482 of them and 1.254 of hired ones.

- It is interesting that a temporary HC number is large and that they got their job through a youth association without tender – he said and added that job analysis will be carried out and after that decision on headcount decrease will follow.

Vlaisavljevic said that in H1, income of the airpor5t are at the planned level, RSD 3,8 billion since the beginning of the year.

- In the same period, expenditures totalles RSD 3,2 billion and they are higher for some 12% compared to the same period last year but also 2% than planned for this year – new acting GM of Nikola Tesla Airport said.
