Big Bull meat company opens new production facility in Bacinci near Sid - Investment of over EUR 2 million brings 53 new jobs
Big Bull Foods has commissioned a new production facility in Bacinci near Sid, thus successfully implementing an over EUR 2 million worth of joint program of expansion and modernization of the capacity of companies BG Mibras and Big Bull Foods, which also resulted in the employment of 53 new workers.
Serbia has got its first bigger manufacturer of modified atmosphere packaged (MAP) meat products, Big Bull said in a release.
The new MAP technology extends the life of fresh red meat for 10 days and meets all EU food safety standards.
It is said in the release that the new technology will make it possible for Big Bull Foods to market 30 new articles in Serbia (sliced pork and beef, rolled minced meat, burgers, fresh sausages, and minced meat). This will also allow the company to penetrate the regional market.
