Wines from Serbia won 36 medals in Vienna

At the international wine evaluation in Vienna 'Austrian Wine Challenge' (AWC), Serbian wines reached historical success by winning 12 golden and 24 silver medals, with 11 more wines gaining 'quality stamp'.
According to the portal 'Vino.rs', the success is amazing, as almost half of the wines coming from Serbia has won a medal, or placed itself into the very top of the best evaluated wines from the world, with this year's record applications of 12.399 wines from 39 countries.
The biggest success was made by 'Belo Brdo Winery', from Cerevic, which won 5 golden and 4 silver medals, and there is a real chance it will be officially named the best national, regional and the best of all at the wine competition of AWC in Vienna of 2013.

Wine evaluation within AWC Vienna is being held in the last 10 years and it is most respectable and largest of such events in the world.
The festive ceremony of awarding and announcing the results will be held on November, 3rd, at the City Parliament in Vienna.
