Italy's Fulgar starts building new facilities in Zrenjanin - Synthetic yarn plant to hire another 100 people
Italy's Fulgar East has started building new production facilities in Zrenjanin. The value of ongoing construction works is about EUR 2 million, whereas the expansion of production facilities will cost about EUR 8 million in total, Zrenjanin Deputy Mayor Cedomir Janjic said today.
Fulgar East produces synthetic yarns, and the production capacity of its plant in Zrenjanin will grow 40 percent with the construction of new facilities.
- In addition to 115 current employees, the company will hire another 100 workers in the following period. The arrival and the expansion of the production capacity of this investor will bring about the arrival of other companies, and I expect 2013 to be a successful year in that respect - Janjic added.
Fulgar East's new production facilities are being built next to the existing one, completed in 2008, in the industrial zone Bagljas-Elemir. The contractor is the construction company Letac from Novi Sad.
