Italian institute for foreign trade (ICE), in cooperation with the Center for promotion of international economic cooperation of Chamber of commerce of Lombardia, is organizing on March, 28th, in Hyatt hotel, in Belgrade, bilateral meetings of firms from the Lombardia region and potential partners from Serbia,

The companies from Lombardia which are participating at this gathering come from different sectors: footwear manufacture, wood processing and furniture manufacture, house accessories, lightning bilboards and metal sector.

Lombardia, as stressed out by the director of ICE's office in Belgrade, Enrico Barbieri, which has 9 millions inhabitants, out of which more than 3 millions in Milan, is economically the most significant region of Italy. The inciative, 8th in the row, organized by ICE from the beginning of the year, is a part of the program of activities which represent the continuance of the manifestation "Italy in Belgrade 2005", pointing direction to specific sectors and particular Italian regions.
