International Conference SEE ENERGY – Connect & Supply on October 13-14 in Novi Sad

The fifth international investment conference SEE ENERGY – Connect & Supply will be held on October 13-14 in Hotel Sheraton in Novi Sad.

The conference is organized by the National Biomass Association SERBIO, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the German Organization for International Cooperation GIZ, with the support of the Ministry of Mining and Energy and the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia.

As the CCIS announced, the topic of this year’s conference is “Western Balkans meet new energy challenges” and, during the two-day event, through 4 sessions, the situation, the current challenges, as well as the future projects and potential solutions in the future energy transition of the whole Western Balkans region will be presented.

The attendees, according to the press release, will have the opportunity to learn about the legislative and regulatory frameworks, technologies and sources of finance for their own investments in green energy, as well as the latest achievements in the implementation of RES in systems of central heating and cooling and projects which actively contribute to the reduction of the dependence on fossil fuels through circular economy, solar energy and electric mobility.

The event will be attended by energy experts, regional and international representatives of state institutions, the economic chambers of Austria and Serbia, representatives of private and public companies, banks and investment funds, insurance companies.

Participation in the conference is free, and registration is mandatory.

The number of those present at the conference itself is limited, but it can be followed through the Zoom app, whose link will be sent to all registered participants a day before the conference, says the announcement by the CCIS.
