Belgrade to Launch Campaign Worth RSD 87.5 Million to Change Citizens’ Attitudes Toward Public Transport

The City of Belgrade has published the tender for media marketing with the preparation of visual materials for the public transport.

According to the tender worth RSD 87.5 million, the Secretariat for Public Transport has decided to realize the campaign “The Preparation of Visual Materials and Media Marketing”, in order to increase the citizens’ trust and change the image of the public transport.

– It is estimated that the realization of this campaign would contribute to a considerable increase of the income from the sale of public transport tickets, which would enable funds for the upgrade of the quality of public transport services – the tendering documentation says.

The campaign needs to be directed at target groups with messages to the users of the public transport in Belgrade, and the project task entails the preparation of visual materials, TV advertising video clips, billboard and bus stand visual materials and online advertising visual materials.

Media marketing entails advertising on TV stations with national frequencies at prime time, on billboards and stops, and online and on social networks.


The campaign, it is pointed out, should be directed at changing the attitudes, habits and behavior of the users of the public transport, so, in line with that, a concept directed at the education of the users of the public transport, responsible conduct of all participants in the traffic and the changing of habits regarding paying the fares needs to be designed.
