Production Facilities of Two Local Companies Under Construction at Jezero Business Zone in Sremska Mitrovica

During the visit to the construction site, it was said that one of the companies which are building their facilities in Sremska Mitrovica is the company Belt, headquartered in Kraljevo, which produces concrete and rebar structures. The plan is for all the works to be completed, for the facility to be equipped and for the production at the new facility to start by the end of the year.

The other company which is investing in Sremska Mitrovica is Alex Engineering & Construction, which produces water filters and pool and spa systems. They have decided to expand their production and to put their products in other markets as well, primarily due to the cooperation with a company from Switzerland which is in the same business. They chose Sremska Mitrovica as a suitable location for their investment and got, according to them, the necessary support for the realization of their investments.

Both these companies bought land in the Jezero business zone at an auction, and the money from the sale of the land was put into the city budget. The city has equipped the locations with utilities and the biggest benefit for the city is from the new jobs.

The Jezero business zone is meant to attract even more investors, and as the authorities say, it is an excellent location for all potential investments.

The planned deadline for the completion of the works is the end of the year, and upon the completion of the works, over a hundred people from Mitrovica will get jobs at these companies.
