Observed by the per-capita GDP, of all the countries that used to comprise the former Yugoslavia, it is Slovenia that has the highest living standard.

The way that the living standard of the residents of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro changed between 1990 and 2020 is shown in an animation based on the data from Countryeconomy.com
