Swedish vehicle manufacturer Scania builds service-retail center in Krnješevci

Scania, Swedish vehicle manufacturer, has decided to invest few million euros in construction of a service-retail center in Krnješevci, in the vicinity of Stara Pazova.

Tomislav Popsavin, the Deputy CEO of Scania Srbija, told eKapija that the construction of modern service-retail center would start in spring 2010.

As he explained, the center where vehicles can be both purchased and serviced will be built on 3 hectares of land. That will also be the place where service part can be bought.

- The completion of works is expected in 12 to 18 months - Popsavin announced at the international exhibition of commercial vehicles Beotruck, which is organized at the Belgrade Fair between March 23 and 27, 2010.

At that manifestation, Scania presented new R truck series, of which characteristics are precise lines, improved aerodynamics, new front grille and side spoilers, as well as new shape of bumper.

What is interesting is that these vehicles offer unique possibility of shaping the truck's interior to suit driver's personal style and preferences.

Scania R series is characterized by new steering wheel controls, easily accessible space for keeping various items, new solutions for storing items in the cab, new functions of audio and navigation system.

The creators of this model took care of comfort as well, so that the cab includes several types of beds.
