Realization of regional dump in Kikinda to start - €2.5m
By signing of the Contract on co-financing, which was signed by the Minister of Science, Technology and Environment Protection Aleksandar Popović, Mayor of Kikinda Dr. Branislav Blažić and director of the Environment Protection Administration Miroslav Nikčević, the realization of the regional dump project commenced.
The project is worth €2.5m and the Republic will take part in its implementation with 20 million CSD.
Regional dump is supposed to satisfy the needs of about 198,000 citizens of municipalities of Kikinda, Bečej, Nova Crnja, Ada, Čoka and Žitište. It will be built in 4 phases and it should be in accordance with all ecological standards of EU.
