As he pointed out, the biggest challenge was to create awareness among people that the destination is safe, and a lot has been invested in digital marketing too.
This season, there's a greater occupancy of the private sector, and it's difficult to count the guests, as numerous household still operate within the black market and therefore do not keep evidence.
– We compare the occupancy through the number of tickets sold. Stopica Cave is one example and it is certain that the number of visitors is drastically higher than last year – he said.
The hotels have adapted the capacities to meet the safety measures, and 90% of the guests are from Serbia, with a certain number from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
