Safest cars of 2019 announced
The Tesla Model 3 shared the award with BMW’s new 3 Series for top spot in the Large Family category , whereas Škoda’s new Octavia is the runner-up in this category.
Mercedes-Benz CLA performed best in the Small Family Car category, followed by Mazda 3, performing second in the safety performances in this category.
Tesla’s Model X is a 2019 winner in the Large Off-Road category, followed by the Seat Tarraco in second place.
Subaru's Forester performed excellently in the Small Off-Road/MPV category, and the second place was shared between Mazda’s CX-30 BEV and Volkswagen’s T-Cross.
Audi’s new A1 is neck and neck with Renault’s all-new Clio in the supermini category, followed closely by Ford Puma.
Lastly, two Tesla models dominated the most attractive tests in the Electric and Hybrid vehicle class, Tesla Model 3 having won the first place while Model X placed second.
