Serbia and Montenegro sent separate requests to World Trade Organization (WTO)

General council of the World Trade Organization has formed separate task forces for admission of both Serbia and Montenegro into this international institution. At the same time, the request submitted in 2003 by SCG for admission into this organization has been withdrawn. The condition for admission into European Union is previous membership in the World Trade Organization. Estimates of the experts are that we will become rightfull members of WTO until 2008.
