Tanjug and Dow Jones sign agreement on cooperation

Tanjug has signed an agreement with the American publishing company Dow Jones, which will be a user and a distributor of Tanjug economic news from now on. The cooperation was initiated by the American company.

Dow Jones is best known for the Dow Jones Industrial Average stock market index, indicates the value of 30 large, publicly owned companies based in the United States, and follows their trading in the stock market.

The company owns numerous daily and periodical publications, including its most famous brand, the Wall Street Journal, and it focuses on information from the world of finance and providing “information tools” to financial companies.


It owns over 20 products which combine content and technology that help companies make decisions, including Dow Jones Newswire, a real-time financial news platform, Dow Jones Factiva, an online database of selected, systematized data used in decision-making by browsing results, warnings, newsletters and graphs related to companies, topics and people.

Dow Jones was founded in 1882. Its majority owner is Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation.
