For better budget planning - "Skytec", in association with "Energodata" and "Bel IT", launched new service in Serbian market

Wishing to expand the business to the Adriatic region, Austrian company "Skytec" has entered into partnership with Serbian companies "Energodata" and "Bel IT". Their joint projects will be primarily focused on planning of the budgets of future clients by means of "Essbase" (one of the most used business intelligence tools at the moment). Business Intelligence (BI) enables quick insight into the most various aspects of your company’s operations and recognition of the clients’ and the market’s needs.

- We have entered into an active, bilateral partnership with "Energodata", which means that the experts from "Skytec" will be working on the joint projects in Serbia, that we will learn to work together in time, and that local people will be hired for large projects that are, usually, implemented by "Skytec". We have chosen "Energodata" because it has already used "hyperion essbase", the product of company "Oracle". What we offer in that partnership is the methodology of BI project, which is something we know very well – Vojkan Radak, the Managing Consultant Data Integration who have implemented 14 similar projects so far, told "eKapija".

According to his words, "Skytec" and its partners offer other companies to draw their budgets on the basis of historical data, mainly by means of "Essbase".

- In order for some company to completely understand what we do and how the budget planning is useful for business, we present something we call “5 days of Essbase with your data” to its representatives. Based on the company’s data and our methodology, we present the budget planning project for concrete company in five days. If the client accepts the cooperation, we start the realization of that project – Radak explained.

Planning and realization of projects by means of "Essbase" usually cost few tens of thousands of euros and take 3 to 9 months, depending on the size of the company. Once the realization of project commences, the business intelligence experts from "Skytec" come once a week to monitor the realization, which is the responsibility of the partners in Serbia.

- We have also entered into partnership with company "Bel IT" which has never been a part of business inteligence projects, but it has the users who are interested in what we do – said Radak.

He announced that all three companies would enter into some kind of partnership in order to cover as large share of the market as possible.

- “Energodata” will organize a meeting in May and present our partnership to the representatives of 20-30 local companies. So far, several companies have expressed interest in cooperation with us. There are problems in realization of such projects in Serbia because everybody lives and works without some long-term plans. That is why Serbian market represents a challenge to our company. So far, we have successfully resolved all the problems related to the budget of some company – said Radak.

The people from "Skytec" announced that they were also negotiating about the partnership with Croatian company "IN2".
