DINKIĆ: Government created new package of economic measures

Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mlađan Dinkić said today (April 6, 2009) that the Government of Serbia had created the new package of measures, which would include 3 billion RSD worth of aid for employment and public works.

- The new package of measures, which includes the most comprehensive rationalization of government administration since year 2000 and stimulus measures for employment and infrastructure, has been completed and it will be announced by the Prime Minister and other ministers in few days – he said at the press conference in the Government of Serbia.

Dinkić specified that, over the next year, the state should finance salaries and allowances for 10,000 trainees who would get jobs in private companies, and it should set aside 1.2 billion RSD for public works.
