Manchester United FC, estimated at EUR 3.25 billion, is still the most valuable football club in Europe, as shown by KPMG's specialized publication “Football Clubs' Valuation: The European Elite 2018”.
The top 10 ranking order has not changed since last year. Real Madrid CF (EUR 2.92 billion) is in the second spot, and its total staff costs exceed EUR 400 million. The third spot belongs to FC Barcelona with EUR 2.78 billion.
They are followed by FC Bayern Munchen (EUR 2.55 billion), Manchester City FC (EUR 2.16 billion), Arsenal (EUR 2.10 billion) and Chelsea (EUR 1.76 billion).

UEFA Champions League finalists Liverpool FC is in the eight spot with EUR 1.58 billion. The ninth and the tenth spot feature Juventus FC (EUR 1.30 billion) and Tottenham Hotspur FC (EUR 1.29 billion), with the latter displaying the highest EV increase (27%).

With a combined Enterprise Value of EUR 32.5 billion, the aggregate value of Europe's 32 leading clubs grew by 9 percent in comparison to last season, said Andrea Sartori, KPMG's Global Head of Sports.

The KPMG algorithm takes into consideration five football-specific metrics: profitability, popularity, sporting potential, broadcasting rights and stadium ownership.
