Modernization of system for transport of ash and slag at TENT A begins – Applications for prequalification procedure to be sent by June 5
The planned investments, including consulting services, are financed by the German development bank KfW in the amount of EUR 45 million, whereas the remaining amount of around EUR 21 million is to be provided by EPS.
Applications for the prequalification procedure are to be sent in English, and the deadline is June 5, it is said in the invitation.
The agreement on the financing of the modernization of the ash transport system at TPP Nikola Tesla, that is, on the loan worth EUR 45 million, was signed by EPS and KfW in February 2017.
As announced at the time, the project will result in improved air quality, as the scattering of the ash from TENT by wind will be prevented, and the project will also protect the underground waters, the Sava and the ground from getting polluted.
As stated in the ad, the project is divided into 6 subsystems: inner system for flying ash, inner system for slag, slag treatment and collection bunker, outer system (transport and depositing of the hydromixture), electrical installations and control and buildings and hydrotechnical facilities.
