Batagon submits sixth bid for FAS – Swiss company offering EUR 7.35 million
Predrag Ljubovic, the bankruptcy trustee of FAS, says that Batagon International AG previously announced that it would file a new bid for the purchase of the factory, which they have now realized.
– The new amount is EUR 7.35 million and, as they announced, this is definitely their final offer. With this, they are finishing the negotiations. It is my opinion that the factory needs to be sold so that it could start working – Ljubovic said and added that, this time, Batagon had given the Board of Creditors a deadline for a decision.
Considering that the interested purchaser's mandatory banking guarantee expired back in mid-October, it remains unclear whether this is then a binding bid.
– If the Board of Creditors accepts the bid, the purchaser will provide a guarantee or pay the deposit – says the bankruptcy trustee.
Predrag Ljubovic also said that neither of the parties that had bought the documentation had shown interest in getting involved in the process of acquiring the ownership over the property of FAS.
