Finance Board of Republic of Serbia adopted 11 draft laws - 200m EUR for realization of credit arrangements
The Finance Board has adopted 11 draft laws today (July 16, 2008). These draft laws regulate international finance contracts for realization of various credit arrangements and allotment of guarantees for rehabilitation of road infrastructure. The Finance Board forwarded them to the Parliament for ratification.
These agreements are worth about 200m EUR, and they include the contracts related to rehabilitation of "Gazela" bridge, rehabilitation of road network, projects related to clinical centers, rehabilitation of the region of Bor, modernization of power system and improvement of agriculture.
The contracts were signed between Serbia and International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), European Investment Bank and International Development Association, and the deadline for their ratification is September 20th.
In addition to the members of the Board, the first meeting of the new Finance Board was also attended by Minister of Finance Diana Dragutinović.
