"Holcim Srbija" plans to have profit increased by 20.7% in 2008

Cement factory "Holcim Srbija" registered decrease in business profit in 2007 by 22.64% , to 823.93m RSD, and it plans to have profit in 2008 increased by 20.73%.

Net profit in 2007 fell by 27.44%, to 644.38m RSD, and the basic profit per stock went down by 27.46%, to 280 RSD.

"Holcim Srbija" from Popovac has 2.3m stocks whose price on the Belgrade Stock Exchange today is 4,200 RSD. Business income was increased by 8.45%, to 5.39 billion RSD, while the expenses grew by 16.6%, to 4.56 billion RSD. Major share of incomes, that is, 4.88 billion RSD, was realized from cement production, while the rest came from concrete production and transportation and pumping services.

According to the plan for year 2008, business incomes should be increased by 14%, to 6.15 billion RSD, while the expenses should grow by 13.16%, to 5.16 billion RSD. Projected increase in business profit is 20.73%, to 990.45m RSD.
