The Chinese Union of Industrialists and Investors opening branches in Belgrade and Cuprija
- Allow me to announce here in Cuprija the opening of the Belgrade office of the Chinese Union of Industrialists and Investors, where the realization of our business plans in Serbia will be taking place, and following the opening of the branch in Belgrade, our wish is to make Cuprija one of the places in Serbia where we will have an office – said Yulong, who visited Cuprija together with Secretary General of the Union Cai Xingfeng and a ten-member delegation from Shanghai on July 1.
Yulong and Xingfeng also presented to the hosts the plate which will soon be placed on the building of the Belgrade branch of the Union, the report states.
The Chinese delegation's host was the president of the municipality of Cuprija Ninoslav Eric, and the meeting was also attended by head of the Strategic Project Implementation Unit at the Government of Serbia Djordje Mancic, who had also been part of the Government's delegation on the occasion of the recent visit of the President of China Xi Jinping to Serbia.
Xi Jinping's visit was “the signal to step up the Chinese projects in Serbia”, it was estimated at the meeting, as the report states.
Eric said to his guests from Shanghai that “a Chinese factory will soon start operating in Cuprija” and reminded that a cargo center, in his estimation “one of the key logistics spots in Serbia”, will be built in the city “in near future”.
