Kikinda-based shareholder company Toza Markovic from Kikinda got a new chance to survive. It seems that former flagship of the first Yugoslav and then Serbian brick industry will start the the way of recovery.

If most creditors accept reprogram of EUR 50 m, Toza could be saved. The Commercial Court in Zrenjanin scheduled for April 21 key bankruptcy hearing. Before the Chamber of creditors, which comprises representatives of the banks and Srbijagas, a plan of reorganization at Toza made, at the request of bankers, by trustee in bankruptcy, Dragan Bozic, should be approved.

One of the key issues Kikinda-based plant will face is finding who will lead after bankruptcy. It has already been indicated that PC Srbijagas, with about 20 million of receivables for gas, as the largest creditor, will take over Toza Markovic, Vecernje writes.
