Cardboard plant Bozo Tomic will not be ruined - Umka is starting production

- Production will start again, business program, collection and processing of old papser and other kinds of packaging waste as well as packaging for wine and confectionary products – Jelic said and added that new hires will be available.

Cacak-based cardboard plant, Bozo Tomic from Cacak was sold to Umka as legal entity at offered price of RSD 102 m although its estimated value was 588 m.

Sale required agreement of the Board of trustees since cardboard plant from Umka offered amount less than 50% of estimated value but was the only one which paid deposit.

According to deputy mayor of Cacak, Radenko Lukovic, the Board of trustees comprised PC Gradac, ZOIL Dunav and representative of former employees of the Paper plant, Milos Trpkovic.
