Several municipalities lobby that high-way route to seaside should go through Pešter-Ivanjica and Sjenica
The route of future high-way, which is going to connect Belgrade with the seaside, should go through Pešter, and not, as some suggest, through Užice and Zlatibor – this is the opinion of the lobby group made of following municipalities: Novi Pazar, Sjenica, Tutin, Raška, Ivanjica, Berane, Rožaje... They are of the opinion that this route will also be lobbied by European Union because it connects Montenegro, Sandžak and Serbia. The route through Pešter is shorter than the route through Užice by 42 km. It is also cheaper because it does not require construction of either tunnels or bridges.
