- On 10,000 square meters of retail space on four floors, Emmezeta offers absolutely everything one can require for home decoration, including the widest range of household appliances and multimedia devices in Serbia – says Aleksandar Pavicevic, the operations director of Emmezeta in Serbia.
Household appliances and electronical devices account for more than 50% of Emmezeta's product assortment, which also includes furniture, home decoration items, garden furniture, creative decorations, dishes, toys for children... It should be stressed that 15 girls from Italy worked on the design of the department store in Bezanija and took care of every single detail in it.
A total of EUR 1.5 million was invested in the opening of the first Emmezeta department store, but with the costs of stock and other expenses, the complete investment is at about EUR 7.5 million.
- We take pride in the fact that 80% of the investment was made in Serbia companies and our country - says Pavicevic.
When asked by eKapija if we can expect new Emmezeta stores in Serbia, Pavicevic said that they were intensively working on that.
Our interlocutor points out that the newly opened facility in Belgrade is one of the most beautiful and the most modenr in the region.
- This kind of facility is unmatched in Serbia, and that is what makes us different from the competition. With our affordable prices, we will make it possible for our people to go shopping every day and we hope to justify our slogan "Low Prices Every Day" in that way – Pavicevic says and adds that 95% of articles are immediately available.
Emmezeta department store is part of Steinhoff International, the world's second largest company in the furniture and home decoration industry in which Kika operates as well.
As Pavicevic told eKapija before, Emmezeta will continue to work with all Kika's suppliers and manufacturers in Serbia, but it will also establish cooperation with 50 new companies.
The first Emmezeta department store in Serbia will employ 160 people.
