"Hilton" in Kneza Miloša Street - company "Sorovia invest" plans construction of luxurious hotel on location of Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs

On the location of the destroyed building of the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs in 90-92 Kneza Miloša Street in Belgrade, a hotel will be built, most probably "Hilton".

This is the plan of "Soravia invest", the daughter company of "Soravia group", which won on the tender for sale of the aforementioned complex and expects signing of the contract with Republic Directorate for Property.

Total of 35,050,000 EUR will flow into the city budget, which is about 6.2m EUR more than the starting price. "Soravia" also plans construction of a business building on this locaion if the land-utilization plan allows. What is for sure is that only the supervisor on this project will be from Austria, whereas the construction will be entrusted to Serbian companies.

- Serbia has excellent bulding companies and there is no reason why any company from aborad should be hired for construction. That will be entrusted to the local companies - says Miroslav Tančev, the Manager of "Soravia" for Southeast Europea and the Manager of the Office - "Soravia invest" in Belgrade.

Hugo Soravia, a member of the management board of "Soravia group" announced construction of a hotel with four or five stars and 400 rooms. Tančev explains that these are the standards for "Hilton" hotels. When the construction commences, the works will be completed within two years.
