Olimp on Zlatibor expanded capacities - Wellness center with indoor swimming pool by end of year

Since the existing capacities were not big enough for a large number of tourists who wanted to stay at Olimp, Dragan Kicanovic, the owner of that hotel on Zlatibor mountain, has decided to expand the capacities by opening a new facility within the complex. The tourists at one of the most visited destinations in Serbia will be offered new contents by Olimp hotel - a wellness center with an indoor swimming pool.

- The construction of a wellness center at 1,000 square meters is underway. Also, the construction of an indoor swimming pool is in the pipeline. We expect that part of the new facility to be opened before the New Year – Miodrag Ilic, the Director of the famous hotel on Zlatibor, announced for eKapija.

He says that the construction of the part of the building with accommodation capacities has already been finished. Eighteen new comfortable rooms have already had their first visitors. A new congress hall with 100 seats has also been opened, as well as a new reception hall at 400 square meters.

A total of 3 million euros have been invested in the new facility. Cacak-based Moduling is in charge of the project and the construction, while the author of the interior is architect Petar Miskovic from Belgrade-based Arhitekt agency.

The planning, equipping and works on the indoor swimming pool are being done by Belgrade-based Aqua Arts-Akvamarin, the company that has also worked on the outdoor swimming pools of Olimp. The equipping of a sauna in the wellness center is entrusted to Bibis.

Rooms at Olimp hotel are furnished with Simpo furniture, while the carpentry has been delivered by Domis.

Before the expanding, Olimp hotel had 70 beds in rooms and suites. The hotel also comprises a restaurant with 90 seats, while the complex includes an outdoor Olympic pool and a pool for kids.
