"MK Group" - only bidder on tender for sale of "Genex" property on Kopaonik

Exclusive hotel "Grand", accomodation complex "Sunčani vrhovi", restaurant "Zvrk" and 102 apartments once used by the employees will become the property of Miodrag Kostić, the owner of "MK Group", in few days.

On the repeated tender, five interested buyers purchased the documentation, but only one bid - Miodrag Kostić's bid - was submitted to the tender commission.

According to the tender rules, the interested buyer is to submit two envelopes. The first one includes personal data and references and it serves to prove to the commission that the company meets the conditions. The second envelope, a smaller one, includes the offered price. The first envelope was opened by the Commission on October 31st. The Commission then stated that aforementioned company and its owner, Miodrag Kostić, met all the criteria. Financial bid, that is, the smaller envelope, will be opened on November 6.

On the first tender, which did not attract many bids, the minimum price for "Genex" property on Kopaonik was 45m EUR, while the starting price on the new tender amounted to 23m EUR. Therefore, the offered price for 50,000 square meters of restaurant and accommodation space must be one, three or few euros higher than the starting one in order to be the winning bid.
