Le Belier pours EUR 12 m in Kikinda-based sections
Le Belier is one of the biggest producers of aluminum castings for global
automotive industry with companies in three continents. The group opened a
plant in Kikinda in 2003 and had 75 employees then with turnover of EUR 4,6 m. This
year, Le Belier expects 560 employees then with turnover of EUR 47,5 m, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce published on its website.
At the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, managers of Le Belier, headed by GM Philippe Dizier, discussed with Aleksandar Stanarevic, Foreign Economic
Relations Manager and Jesa Ercic, Service and entrepreneurship Manager at SCC.
At the meeting, it was outlined that Le Belier is planning significant program for Renault vehicles which implies EUR 12 m of new investments, annual turnover of EUR 60 m and opening of 70 new vacancies in Kikinda.
Having in mind that Kikinda-based Le Belier" is a member of Group of foundries at SCC, it was agreed that their representative becomes a member of the Board of Association for electrical industry, metal mines and metallurgy so that they would take more active part in proposing new laws and legislations, especially when it comes to environmental fee decrease for those investing funds in new technologies and environmental protection equipment.
SCC representatives will deliver to Philippe Dizier a list of aluminum foundries in Serbia with the ownership structure so that Le Belier group could consider strategic partner options or their privatization.
