"Mittal" sponsor, not buyer - "Zvezda": the club is not for sale

Multinational company "Mittal" will soon become member of the pool of sponsors of "Crvena zvezda".

Zoran Damjanović, the Secretary General of "red-and-whites", said that many domestic and foreign companies were interested in the champion of Serbia and that the purchase of the club, which was announced by the media, was not going to happen.

- We have the meeting with the representative of "Mittala" schedulled for the next week. It is widely known that we have no legal framework for any form of the privatization of "Zvezda", so that it can only be a sponsor arrangement - Damjanović explained.
