Value of construction works drops 5.8 percent

The value of construction works carried out by Serbian contractors in Q4 2013 dropped 8.5 percent from the same quarter in 2012, the Republic Statistical Office announced in a release.

Of the total value of all works, those carried out in the territory of Serbia account for 78.8%, whereas those done abroad account for 21.2%.

The value of works on buildings grew 34.8 percent in the given period, but the value of all other construction works dropped 22.8 percent.
