German factory FFA Fiebig installs largest dredge for extracting gravel in the Balkans
In the gravel pit of the construction giant Holcim in the vicinity of Sofia, German floating dredge manufacturer Fiebig has installed the largest floating dredge in the Balkans. This machine can extract up to 1,000 cubic meters of gravel and sand from water per hour at a depth of up to 100 meters.
Radenci-based Technoport, which represents the Fiebig factory, is currently negotiating with highway builders and construction companies in Serbia that still import gravel from abroad.
