Indian company eyes investment in borates - Usha Industries wants to invest in Pobrdje mine in Raska
India's Usha Industries is interested in investing in the borate mine Pobrdje near Baljevac, in Raska, it was announced on the website of the Ministry of Energy, Development and Environmental Protection.
According to the release, it was agreed at a meeting in the ministry on August 22nd that Usha Industries, one of the largest traders in boron minerals, would submit a letter of intent for investment in the mine and the capacity for processing waste ore.
This letter of intent should be submitted on the basis of a technical protocol that should be previously agreed upon with the Resavica underground coal mining public company.
