World of Jeans starts production in Novi Pazar
World of Jeans from Novi Pazar has hired 50 workers and begun producing garments on the premises of the former textile plant Raska, it was announced on the city official website.
Novi Pazar Mayor Dr. Meho Mahmutovic said while touring the factory that World of Jeans exported 100 percent of products, adding that the company had hired fifty people from Novi Pazar.
- However, it is very likely that, in line with the demand for products and the company's business policy, another fifty fellow citizens will get a job by the year's end - said Mahmutovic.
World of Jeans' owner Faik Ibrovic said that the factory was currently producing 600 pieces of clothing a day, adding that almost all goods were intended for the German market.
- Considering that those who are buying goods from us ask to be supplied with 1,200 pieces of clothing a day, it is most likely that we will have to increase the number of our employees. That will be a good opportunity to hire certain number of unemployed fellow citizens - said Ibrovic.
