Alpine owes over RSD 400 million to Serbian companies - Serbia prepares list of claims
Austria's Alpine in bankruptcy owes over RSD 400 million to Serbian companies, its subcontractors, for the work on a Corridor X stretch near Dimitrovgrad. Unlike the state, which will receive EUR 10 million after the official termination of the agreement with Alpine, domestic road companies are not so sure that they will get any money from the Austrian company.
Koridori Srbije officially terminated all agreements with that Austrian company, which had won a EUR 60 million contract to carry out works on the eastern arm of Corridor X.
Koridori Srbije CEO Dmitar Djurovic says to Blic that over the next month they will do a calculation that will be used to prepare a list of claims to submit to the bankruptcy manager in Vienna.
- Once this is completed, we will invite bids to appoint a new contractor. The process will take between six and nine months, so that we expect the building site to be activated at the beginning of next year's construction season.
