Turkey's Dogus Holding interested in building part of Corridor XI
Turkey's construction company Dogus Holding is interested in participating in the construction of Corridor XI through Serbia, the Cabinet of Minister without Portfolio Sulejman Ugljanin said in a release Thursday.
According to that release, Regional Manager of the Dogus construction group Ertan Japidzi talked with Ugljanin on Thursday and proposed cooperation in the construction of roads in Serbia.
It is added that the Turkish company has already bidded for a contract in Montenegro to build a Corridor XI section and now awaits a decision of the Montenegrin government in April.
- We would like to take part in that project on both sides of the border, and we will soon send you a letter of intent - said Japidzi.
He stressed that Serbia was the center of the Balkans, citing that as a reason why they were interested in cooperation and adding that if their holding came to operate in Serbia, it would be a signal for other large investor to follow their lead.
