Mrkic gives Konuzin credit for improving relations
Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Mrkic organized a farewell lunch for Ambassador of Russian Federation to Serbia Alexander Konuzin on Wednesday and thanked him for advocating the improvement of relations between Serbia and Russia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a release.
Mrkic gave Konuzin credit for his cooperation and commitment to the improvement of bilateral relations, vocing a hope that the relationships between Serbia and Russia would be intensified in all areas in the following period.
Minister Mrkic met with Ambassador Konuzin a day after the visit to Sochi, where he participated in the talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin as a member of the delegation of Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic.
Mrkic wished Ambassador Konuzin success in his new post at the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, reads the release.
