Debenhams coming to the Balkans - British department store chain seeks regional master franchisor
The British department store chain Debenhams told the media in Croatia that it planned to expand its business to the Balkans, adding that that was the reason why it was searching for office spaces spanning between 1,500 and 3,500 square meters within modern shopping centers and department stores.
Debenhams is also looking for a regional master franchisor to cover the territory of Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro and Albania.
Debenhams operates 142 department stores and 22 stores in Great Britain and Northern Ireland, as well as 67 franchise stores in 25 countries, and it employs about 29,000 people.
